Hassan Elmalik, originally from Omdurman where the Blue and White Nile meet, has developed his own style on the oud, blending Sudanese and Ethiopian rhythms with reggae and blues. He has performed with leading Sudanese musicians, toured internationally, and served as head of music at Khartoum FM.
