Summer Concert with Joaquín La Habana

Joaquín La Habana & Siboney La Habana-Reyes

On 27 August, Joaquín La Habana & Siboney La Habana-Reyes bring Afro-Cuban rhythms, Caribbean funk and percussion to Apfelsinenplatz in Gropiusstadt.

Joaquín La Habana is a Berlin-based singer, dancer and performer from Cuba. His work combines Afro-Cuban traditions with jazz, funk and pop. Together with Siboney La Habana-Reyes, he presents an energetic afternoon of music and rhythm.

The programme is open to everyone and free of charge. Children and families can also take part in creative activities and hands-on workshops.

How to get to the location:

• Subway: Take the U7 to Wutzkyallee station. From there it is only a 3-minute walk to Joachim-Gottschalk-Weg.
• Bus: Bus lines 171 and M11 stop at Wutzkyallee/Fritz-Erler-Allee. From there it is about a 5 minute walk.
