This year, Berlin Mondiale is proud to collaborate with Tanz im August, the internationally renowned contemporary dance festival presented by HAU Hebbel am Ufer. Since its founding in 1989, Tanz im August has been a cornerstone of Berlin’s cultural landscape, showcasing internationally acclaimed companies, innovative choreographers, and groundbreaking new formats from around the world.

Tanz im August 2025 unfolds across multiple venues in Berlin, including HAU1, HAU2, HAU3, Radialsystem, Sophiensæle, the Alte Münze, the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, and even Tempelhofer Feld, featuring 20 productions, 3 world premieres, 10 Germany premieres, and 5 international co-productions. Beyond performances, the festival offers workshops, artist talks, podcasts, and parties, creating spaces for exchange, experimentation, and fresh perspectives on choreography and cultural practice.
