Together Again: Berlin Mondiale x Tanz im August 2026
This year, Berlin Mondiale is once again collaborating with Tanz im August, the international festival for contemporary dance, presented by HAU Hebbel am Ufer.
From 13 to 29 August 2026, the 38th edition of the festival brings artists, choreographers and companies from different parts of the world to venues across Berlin. This year’s programme features 19 productions and 54 events at 11 venues, including 3 premieres, 6 German premieres, and 4 Berlin and international co-productions.
Under the artistic direction of Ricardo Carmona, the festival explores a world that is constantly in motion. The works engage with themes including migration and belonging, war and resistance, memory, identity, nature, and the ways in which social and political changes shape our bodies and the ways we live together.
Alongside the performances, workshops, artist talks, podcasts, relaxed performances, audio descriptions and parties create additional spaces for exchange, encounters and new perspectives.
As part of our collaboration, we are once again sharing the festival programme through our networks and in our neighbourhoods across Berlin.
