Zukunftswerkstatt Heinersdorf
Romain-Rolland-Str. 112
13089 Berlin

We are excited about the cooperation with Zukunftswerkstatt Heinersdorf which allows us to connect the Mondiale network to this wonderful space. Zukunftswerkstatt Heinersdorf has been actively shaping the Heinersdorf area since 2006, bringing together a diverse group of people including families, couples, singles, young and senior residents, who all want to make positive changes in the neighborhood. They have achieved a great deal over the last years, including the construction of a playground and a football field, organizing various projects, and running a neighborhood house, which has become an important contact and meeting point in Heinersdorf.

This outdoor area is located on the outskirts of Berlin and was founded as part of the protests surrounding the construction of a mosque. The main goal of the organization at that time was to form an active civil society against right-wing protesters and attacks and to bring the new neighborhood together. On this ground, we were able to organize a series of events together with Zukunftswerkstatt Heinersdorf, such as concerts, theater performances, and youth workshops.
